Natia Daniel is a Singer/Songwriter who has hit the Soca scene stirring up a lot of interest with those in the know and making connections with those who have been already established for many years in the business. She provides hot lyrics and a sweet and spicy sound. Natia was born and raised in London and has strong influences from her St. Lucian/Jamaican background. She makes her mark in the Soca industry with musical influences of Calypso, Zouk, Reggae, Soca and R&B.
Her love for music touched several genre’s, and her love for Soca music grew whilst attending carnival’s in various Caribbean islands and attending Soca fete’s & events, which enabled her to meet various Soca lovers and contributors to the music & entertainment industry.
Natia released a power track just before Notting Hill Carnival last year called “No Matter De Temperature”, written and produced by Hitty Lance. This single, along with Natia’s performance, placed 2nd in both annual competitions UK Soca Monarch and UK Road March 2013, within her 1st year of entering.
Within the year of 2013 she was also nominated for Best New Female Soca Artist of 2013 by the International Soca Awards.
Natia’s releases for of 2014 are a groovy Soca track called “I don’t Mind”, an upbeat, racy song called “Reveal” and a female powering single named “Gimme Dat”. Each single is set to show a side to herself that the public may not be familiar with, a saucy yet fun and playful part of her personality.
You can expect this female artist to be making some more appearances through performances, events and new music for 2018 onwards.
